What identifies you

hakoniwa uses Firebase Authentication to identify users. The hakoniwa application database stores the Firebase user id needed to keep conversation data separated.

What voice practice uses

Voice conversation turns are processed by the hakoniwa API. OpenAI may process audio and text for transcription and replies. ElevenLabs may process text to generate NPC speech.

What may be saved

Audio and conversation history may be saved for playback, review, and continuity inside the Unity app.

What hakoniwa does not store

hakoniwa does not store OAuth provider tokens in its application database. Feedback and deletion requests can be sent through GitHub Issues during the alpha period.
